Fantasy World Resort in Kissimmee, Florida is the perfect dentation for larger families or a group of friends visiting the Orlando theme parks. These six person townhomes make for the perfect home away from home. You are only 15 minutes away from the Magic Kingdom and 20 minutes from Universal CityWalk.

The price is very reasonable as well. As far as I can tell you won’t be spending more than $400 a night and that’s with out a deal. You find another place in and around Orlando that is that cheap. Now this place also doesn’t feel cheap at all but we will get into all of that below.
If you are planning a vacation to Orlando and don’t want to pay the Disney or Universal prices. Give Fantasy World Resort a good hard look. It may just become your new home away from home every time you visit Orlando. I know it just might be mine.
Townhouse Overview

Fantasy World Resort rooms are not hotel rooms with suites. This place is actually townhouse or rowhomes, depending on what you call them. Fantasy World Resort townhomes have two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and living room with sleeper sofa. You will also find a small washer and dryer for your clothing.
The kitchen is stocked with all the pots and pans you would need to cook a nice meal away from home. It is also stocked with glassware and silverware. Plus, don’t worry about hand washing all that stuff. There is a dishwasher too.

As you would expect you have a full size fridge. Just don’t expect there to be ice in the freezer. You will have to make that yourself but they do supply ice cube trays.
The two bedrooms upstairs are a nice size. One room has a queen bed. The other room has two twin beds. Now the beds are not the most comfortable around. But they are good enough for a decent night sleep.
The sofa in the living room pulls out for another bed. Now you all may or may not know how comfortable they can be. However, it gives you room for two more people to sleep. So who draws the short straw? The kids or that couple no one really likes but invited anyway?

Fantasy World Resort townhomes have two full bathrooms too. One is upstairs and the other is downstairs. The upstairs bathroom is a great size and easy to move around in. No problem getting changed in there. It has a tub with shower.
The downstairs bathroom is rather small. No tub in this bathroom. You will only find a shower in here. Plus it is a little difficult to change in this bathroom. It is doable just a little tight.
Now the water pressure and temperature in the shower is great. The temperature is easy to control. The only thing is the toilet lacks some serious flushing power. You might have to go out an buy a plunger or see if the front desk has one.
The living room is a good size for the townhome. Between the chair, sofa, and kitchen table. You can easily have everyone hanging out in the same location and not feel cramped. While they might not be the most comfortable chairs around.
Not only do you have plenty of space inside the townhome. There is also a screened in patio to use. Now it doesn’t have too many seats. Only five for you to use but still not bad. There is plenty of room for everyone. Plus for the price you are paying it can’t be beat.
Plus how much time are you really planning on spending in the townhome? If you are planning on spending time here you better be using the other amenities around the resort.
Around the Resort
Fantasy World Resort is huge and has everything you need when spending a day back at the resort. It even has somethings you wouldn’t expect to see at a place at this price point. Think of what you would like to do back at the resort when you are just hanging out there for a day. I bet they have it.

For starters they have a huge pool. Next to the pool you will find not one but two waterslides plus a nice size lazy river with shooting water jets and a water fall. There are also plenty of chairs around so everyone has one to use to sit down for a minute or lay around and work on your tan.
Besides the pool, slides, and lazy river you will find a little splash pad for little kids. Plus there are hot tubs as well. Can you really ask for more?

Okay, maybe you can so there is more. Besides all the water fun you can be having they also have stuff that doesn’t make you wet. There are tennis courts, a playground, basketball court, and a mini golf area.
There’s also bocce ball, shuffleboard, and batting cages. But what’s that? What do you do when it’s raining! Don’t worry Fantasy World Resort has you covered in case of that too.

You can rent (for free) DVD’s. Or you can pick up board games. Plus you can grab the needed sporting equipment for the various activities listed above. There is also an area inside where you can purchase tickets for the local theme parks.
Outside near the pool there is a little pool bar. They don’t have a wide selection but they have enough to get you by. You can also order some food here too.

Fantasy World Resort also has a fitness center and walking trails. Plus there are grills both charcoal and gas for you to use. However, they are not in the greatest of locations for you to use unless your townhome is near one. It’s still not that far but could be a hassle if you are walking back and forth with food.
One other really important thing to note. Fantasy World Resort was named one of the top 10 resorts that offered a free shuttle to Walt Disney World. A lot of the area resorts have shuttles but not many of them offer them for free. Heck, even some of the good neighbor hotels on Disney property charge you to use the shuttle. Fantasy World Resort does not.
Local Area

The local area has all your needs covered too! You will find a Walmart and Publix less than five minutes away. These are great locations to get your food shopping done so you can make your own meals in your townhome.
If you are more of a fast food and restaurant fan. Fear not, there are tons of places near by. You can walk to Arby’s and Taco Bell if you really wanted to. Popeye’s and Pizza Hut are right there too.
Friday’s, Chilli’s, Waffle House, Perkins, and many more are really close too. One thing that is certain. You won’t have trouble finding something. You just might have trouble deciding on where to go.
Now chances are the reason you are even looking for somewhere to stay is because you are planning on visiting Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, or SeaWorld. Well Fantasy World Resort isn’t too far from them.
Walt Disney World is around 15 minutes away if you don’t have too much traffic. Even with traffic you should be able to make it to any of the them parks in under a half hour.

Universal Studios is about 20 minutes away. Even when you hit traffic on I-4 it shouldn’t take you longer than a half hour. Of course, you still will have a decent walk from the parking garage but that is just how Universal Orlando Resort is.
SeaWorld is about 15 minutes away too. No matter which theme park you decide to visit. It will be a fairly quick drive for you to get there. Sure it might not be right there. But the money you are saving makes up for the fact that you have to drive a little bit.
So there is a look at Fantasy World Resort. You won’t find a better budget friendly resort located so close to the Orlando area theme parks. Most days the price is cheaper than the Disney All-Star resorts. It’s a far better deal too with all the extras you get around the resort.
