Hello,

So you want to learn more about me. Well see I am a single dad from the Philadelphia area who also happens to be a photographer and blogger and veteran. Yep that’s me in the photo below. I know, I know that was a long time ago.

I served in the United States Marine Corps from June 2001 to June 2005. I spent time over in Spain in 2002 and Kuwait and Iraq in 2003. I started training for the MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) in Summer of 2004 but there was an issue with my Reenlistment paperwork in early 2005 so I decided to get out instead of extending.

Since than I started working at my current thankless job of watching inmates at a prison. Without those two life experiences I wouldn’t be who I am today. I wouldn’t have meet my wife and had my daughter and wouldn’t be divorced.

Going through all of that only made me stronger. Know to love the ones I love. And to put trust in the right people.

I really started to get serious with my photography back in 2010. My ex wife picked me up and simple point and shoot and I was loving it. By 2014 I decided it was time to get myself a DSLR. I would only take photos of are trips at the time or of the moon. Once I got separated I really started stepping up my game.

First it was once or twice a month. Later in became once or twice a week. I would go to local areas and photography landscapes. Than I started taking day trips with my daughter at least twice a month.

So I started taking pictures of her along with all the different sites we visited. Now I never really went to school for photography. I did take a class in high school on photography. But that was back in the film days. You really had to pay attention to what you were doing.

Anyways, that leads us up to today. I try to take weekly adventures with my daughter. Going to the local zoos, historical sites, or family friendly events. All the while taking pictures of our adventures for personal and professional use. Currently I am busy at work on this blog and uploading to stock websites. One day I may break out and do more but right now that is it.
