WOW, such a great deal. The Tampa CityPASS is one of the best values you will find. While all CityPASS passes are a great value chances are there are a few you would not use. With the Tampa CityPASS you will easily use them all.
You just need to do a little planning and stay in the right location. Check out my review on the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tampa. It is in the best location for using all of passes. Close to 4 out of the 6 attractions.
This post may contain affiliate links. It is at no extra cost to you for clicking a link, but helps me out. For more info click here.
Currently the cost for an adult is $109 and $99 for children ages 3-9. If you visit all 5 attractions you will save over 50%. But even going to two of these attractions should break you even so the other 3 you could look at as bonuses. Of course the one that you would have to do is Busch Gardens. But isn’t that why you are looking at the CityPASS anyway?
The other attractions that are available are Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Florida Aquarium, Museum of Science & Industry or Chihuly Collection. I arrived in Tampa on a Sunday afternoon and left for Orlando on Tuesday afternoon. Even in that short amount of time I was still able to visit 4 of the attractions.
ATTRACTIONS

FLORIDA AQUARIUM
The Florida Aquarium is home to hundreds of different species of marine life. Check out sharks, sea turtles, eels, clownfish, string rays and so much more. On hot summer days allow the kids to cool off in the splash zone. A cool little area for kids to run around in and burn of some energy and get soaked at the same time.

Be sure to also check out moon bay. Where else can you touch jellyfish? I’ve been to plenty of places where you can touch sand sharks and string rays. But never where you could touch a jellyfish other than the Jersey shore and trust me you don’t want to touch one there.
CLEARWATER MARINE AQUARIUM
Ever wanted to meet a movie star? How about 2 of them? Well head on over to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium where you can meet Winter from Dolphin Tale and Hope from Dolphin Tale 2.

Not sure who Winter is. Well, Winter is the Dolphin who lost his tale when it was caught up in a crab pot. Clearwater marine Aquarium has a couple of rescued marine animals as well. You will find rescued nurse sharks (Thelma and Louise), sea turtles, pelicans, otters and much more.
Learn how they rescue animals from the ocean and rehab them back to health. If they can be returned to the ocean they are. This is a great place for any kid who dreams of growing up and taking care of marine animals.
BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA
Save BIG on Busch Gardens Tickets! BUY NOW!
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a great theme park for animal lovers as well as thrill seekers. With 9 roller coasters currently and a new hybrid coaster opening in 2020 this is the park you want to visit when coming to Florida. Forget Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure.
Besides some amazing roller coasters you will find many different animal experiences. Feed kangaroos. Watch wildlife docs take care of all the animals found roaming Busch Gardens. Plan on spending your whole day enjoying the rides, food and animals at this fantastic theme park.
ZOO TAMPA AT LOWRY PARK

Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park is another great addition to the Tampa CityPASS. Explore 6 different zones from Florida to Asia and everything in between. Feed rhinos, get a picture with Koala’s and so many more things you can add on (additional cost) to have a truly unique experience.
Check out the amazing animals that make Florida such a great place to visit. Watch elephants cool down in that Florida sun. Catch a ride on roaring springs. Just be prepared to get a little wet.
Visit ZooTampa at Lowry Park and Save 25%MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & INDUSTRY
Museum of Science & Industry is described as “a scientific playground with more than 100 hands-on activities!” Work on challenging brain puzzles, build a robot. You can even lie on a bed of nails.

For the kids who love a more physical challenge check out the rope course. This multilevel structure is 36 feet in the area and provides a challenge for kids of all ages. If you love the sky but would rather have your feet on the ground check out the Saunders Planetarium. Here you can check out the star projector. It can simulate any location on earth from the past, present or future and see what the night sky looks like.
CHIHULY COLLECTION
This place is a permanent collection of artist Dale Chihuly’s. Check out some unique glass artwork in an interestingly unique building designed just for this purpose. For an additional $75 you can make your own blown glass ornament or paperweight. This is a great place for the art lover in the group.
NOTE: That you can visit either the Chihuly Collection or The Museum of Science & Industry along with Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Zoo Tampa while using the Tampa CityPASS. It is advertised that you will save 51% by buying the CityPASS instead of visiting each place and buying tickets there.
You can purchase your CityPASS tickets at the ticket booth at each location or purchase online before you go. Don’t forget if you click on one of the links on here I will get a little kickback and will thank you very much for it.
I was able to do Zoo Tampa, Florida Aquarium and Clearwater Marine Aquarium all in one day. It helped that the Clearwater Aquarium was open until 8pm when I was visiting. Both the Florida Aquarium and Zoo Tampa where open 9 to 5. I spent the whole next day at Busch Gardens on my quick trip to Tampa. I know on my next visit to Tampa I will be getting the CityPASS again.
